Dr. Simna obtained her MBBS at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Health Sciences, followed by DCH and DNB qualifications at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and National Board of Education, respectively. She also obtained MRCPCH from Royal College of Pediatrics & Child Health in UK .Her ongoing interest to stay abreast in her field, inspired her to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support certifications. She is a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, Indian Academy of Paediatrics and the Indian Medical Association. She is also the co-author of “Just before Exam”, a book on practical paediatrics, which is testimony to her thought leadership in the field.
Dr. Simna Rajan has 12 years of working experience in the field of Paediatrics with her core expertise focused on the overall growth and development of children. She began her medical career as a Junior Resident in Azeezia Medical College Hospital in India and later moved up to be an Assistant Professor at the same hospital. She then worked as a Consultant Paediatrician at a prominent multispeciality hospital, in India.
